Monza fens announced Bulgarian team “Sofia Car Motorsport”and the creator of the car Rosen Daskalov to be the best team and the fastest car on the track
Sudden breakdown in the alternator pulled out of the track the leader in the second race from the first round on the competition on Monza- Bulgarian car, piloted by Andreas Guelden.
After the best laps in the free practices and qualifying session the team started the first race with penalties – 15 seconds in the paddock with total 65 kg. ballast, which led to the second place in the first race. After clipping the white line on its way out of the pits Sin R1 GT4 recieved 30 seconds penalty and the 2nd place was taken from it. Sofia Car Motorsport received 8th place in the final ranking.
In the same time two other Sin R1 GT4-s were competing in Pirelli World Challenge in Birmingham, Alabama. The cars got two 1st places, one 4th and one 5th place and proved to be the fastest cars of this class.
For the first time in Bulgarian sports history the professional team of Sofia Car Motorsport and the first Bulgarian producer of racing and road cars Sin Cars worked in partnership with one of the best teams in European GT4 series, Mathol Racing, competing in VLN series and 24 Hours on Nuerburgring.
